It’s been awhile since I have blogged any designs from The Curious Seamstress of GreenWood Designs and I just got two brand new releases……from the 1930’s. The Satin Dolls Collection: Stella & Bessy~
First up is Stella in opulent orange satin, this floor length gown is sleeveless with a form fitting bodice and flowing skirt. The gown is based on a real one in an American museum. The heavy silk satin and vibrant orange red coloring made it perfect for the Curious Seamstress Satin Dolls collection.
For me, the back of Bessy is the show stopper…..halter styled and draped gorgeously low. This makes for another wonderfully unique, period style couture gown from Kembri Tomsen, owner/designer of The Curious Seamstress of GreenWood Designs.
Bessy includes the black satin opera gloves and purple and the black Midnight Seductions Peep Toe heels (both shown). The skirts flow effortlessly as you twirl and move, whether dancing or simply walking.
Anytime you need an authentic period gown or dress, head to The Curious Seamstress of GreenWood Designs, and you’ll be sure to find exactly what you need and love it forever…Stella and Bessy are proof of that 🙂
*Both gowns come with 1930’s undergarments not shown here*
