Miss Danielle 2012 Live Finals

Saturday, June 2, 2012 ~ 9:00 AM SLT

For the second year now, Dani Plassitz, designer and owner of Styles by Danielle,  offers to one of twelve lucky finalists the opportunity to be the face of Styles by Danielle.

Each contestant has passed through several phases of a rigorous selection process, and will now be presented before a panel of judges consisting of some of SL’s most respected members of the fashion community.

During the event, the finalists will each walk the runway twice, modeling a cocktail dress, followed by a formal evening gown. While the judges tally up their votes and make their decision, we will be treated to a live performance by the lovely and talented singer, Clarice Karu.

You are cordially invited to attend this exciting event on Saturday, June 2 at 9:00 a.m. SLT.  The event is being handled by the prestigious PoBa Models Agency and will be set in a location decorated to look like a town square of the 1960’s era.

The crowning of Miss Danielle has gained a permanent place among the fashion and beauty contests of SL and we look forward to welcoming you to this unique event which will end with the crowning of our stunning new Miss Danielle 2012!

The Miss Danielle 2012 Pageant is organized in two main stages:

1st stage – QUALIFICATIONS FOR FINALISTS (1-15 April, 2012)

We will choose nine ladies who will become Miss Danielle 2012 finalists through a photo contest.
Therefore, between 1-15 April, please prepare the following:

– Join Styles by Danielle inworld group
– Create a notecard titled “Miss Danielle 2012 1st stage – (Your name)” and include the following in the notecard:
a) one 1024×1024 face shot of your avatar wearing any Styles by Danielle outfit
b) one 1024×1024 full-length shot of your avatar wearing any Styles by Danielle outfit

Accessories do not need to be Danielle (but could if you wish so), only the dress.
Pictures must be full perm with NO name or logo on them. But please, DO rename each picture with your name before enclosing it in the notecard.
Drop the notecard in our drop box in the main store.

NOTE: Our Danielle Fashionista winners in 2nd season (from November 2011, till March 2012) are skipping this stage and they go directly to the finals, as it is one of the prizes they had won.

2nd stage – FINALS

The Finals will go in two stages:

A) Photo contest (5-15 May, 2012)
You will be given the dress especially created for this event and you will need to style it and send us two photos of yourself wearing it. Your result from this part will have impact upon your final result.

B) Live event (end of May, 2012 )
You will present yourself in front of our judges and the audience in the same dress from the Finals, Photo contest and also in a Danielle evening gown of your choice.

Detailed rules for the Miss Danielle 2012 Pageant finalists will be shared within the Miss Danielle contest group.

How to Join: CONTACT PERSON: Belle Roussel (by notecard only) DEADLINE: Sunday, June 26, 2011.

Step 1: The Jewellery you wear in your photos must be by Chop Zuey. (free gifts & members gifts are not acceptable – complete transaction must be shown). *Please see the list of acceptable collections from which you can choose your pieces. Each Photo must show different jewellery and preferably a different look, different style or different side of your personality (i.e. First photo natural and the second photo High Couture, Minimalist or Impressionist ect.).

Step 2: All Contestants must be a member of the Chop Zuey Couture Jewellery Group.

Step 3: Take two photos.

a) Size 1024 x 1024 in TGA or PNG Format only.

b) Photos must be Full Permission.

c) Rename the Photos: Your Name + Pic 1 and Pic 2

d) Do Not put your name or the Photographers name or studio on the picture please. You can credit them in the Enrollment Card.

Step 4: Put the two full perm photos into a folder and rename it as: Chop Zuey Girl + Your full name. Remember: Your Photos should highlight and represent Chop Zuey Jewellery at its best, However we are looking for that Girl with the personality, light and heart that shines thru (see above description of the Chop Zuey Girl) – and of course – we are looking for GREAT PHOTOS. Photoshop touch-ups are acceptable.

Step 5: Fill out this Enrollment Notecard, rename it and put it in your folder.

Step 6: Send the whole folder to Belle Roussel by Deadline Midnight (SLT) Sunday June 26th, 2011. Announcments will be made Saturday July 2, 2011. By Submitting Pictures and application, you agree to give Full Permission to Chop Zuey Couture Jewellery to use them in store display, blog sharing, advertising, shop displays and ad events. Credit will be given. Please follow directions completely. Any missing information may result in elimination of your application. All decisions made by Chop Zuey Management shall be final and binding.

MyFaceModelPool Model of the Week! Catlyn Sahara

Happy Monday and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday 🙂 

Incase you didn’t know it, I recently was made Model Manager at Virtual Worldwide Media and I also moderate MyFaceModelPool. Each week we reward one model who has great photos, and actively contributes on the MFMP site….with blogs, videos, comments , etc. The MFMP Model of the Week is then eligible to be in our MFMP Quarter Final and at the end of the year, one will be crowned MFMP Model of the Year. Which comes with all kinds of cool things, as well as the title 🙂

The models on the MFMP are all amazing and so I thought I should let my readers know and also let you know that anyone can become a member of the model pool. We only have a few simple rules, like a profile photo, and it helps if you model, hehe.  MFMP is growing daily and it is all because of our great member participation! 

And now without further adieu, I would like to announce the winner of this weeks MFMP Model of the Week ~ Catlyn Sahara! Thank you Catlyn for your daily activity on the site and all of the gorgeous photos you contribute. Congratulations Catlyn!
