Fashion Alert ! The 70s Are Back at GizzA!

I saw these outfits from GizzA Creations  and just had to have them. Giz is a dollface and passed them for me to blog.

GizzA Creations Flower Children Sets are groovy and so retro that I am in 70’s Heaven ! The crochet vest has puffy embroidered daisies on it, worn over the color coordinated shirts with scalloped, crochet trim and cute, puffed short sleeves…can it get any better than this?? YES! They’ve paired them perfectly with a pair of wavy striped,crochet bell bottoms….SERIOUSLY? I loves me some GizzA and these give me flashbacks ( I can almost hear The Doors  in the background as I stare at my Lava Lamp).

I had vests just like these as a child and being  a child of the 70’s gave me a true love of the fashion statements of the time, even tho some were pretty insane (remember rainbow colored afros?? ’nuff said)

I didn’t have pants quite this far out but my little sister totally did and would match them with flowered tops, lol. Gotta love the 70’s! The fashion era of mismatching, neon colors and a general mismash of prints …the weirder it was the better we liked it. Hippies knew how to dress like no one else. The freedom to look like we didn’t care that our prints were battling  was our right and we embraced it like no other time since.

 Stripes, plaids and flowers in bright bold in your face colors and prints, all on one body at the very same time was the norm and anyone who didn’t like it, didn’t matter. Peace, love and harmony and the right to be a fashion faux pas was our God given right…..remember toe socks???  *wipes a tear* . It was the stepping stone of the infamous  fashion trainwreck known as the  80’s. God, I loved those ripped up sweatshirts,  LOL!

I adore GizzA Creations even more for making these Flower Children Sets, mix and match them, get them all ….You know you want to embrace the Flower Child in you, so do it with GizzA! Peace baby ♥
